2026 Tata Tiago EV
As mentioned earlier, the 2026 Tata Tiago EV is now the most affordable electric car in India, with prices starting from Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant. Prices for the battery-fitted Tata Tiago EV start from Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The EV comes equipped with options of either a 19.2 kWh or a 24 kWh battery pack, and it has a claimed range of up to 285 Km, once fully charged. It also supports fast charging of up to 30 kWh, and 100 kilometres of range can be added in just 18 minutes of charging.

MG Comet EV
The MG Comet used to be the most affordable electric car in India, and it costs Rs 30,000 more than the 2026 Tiago EV, which has now become the entry point to the Indian electric car market. Notably, the MG Comet EV BaaS is priced at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by a 17.3 kWh battery pack and has a claimed range of up to 250 kilometres once charged completely.
Tata Punch EV 2026
The Tata Punch EV 2026 was launched by the brand recently, and it is the third most affordable electric car in the Indian market. The Tata Punch EV BaaS prices start from Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Punch EV 2026 comes with options of either a 30 kWh or a 40 kWh battery pack, and the claimed range stands at 468 kilometres, once fully charged.

Citroen eC3X
The Citroen eC3X was recently launched in India with a (Battery as a Service) BaaS variant priced at Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom). It features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. In terms of features, the SUV is packed with a wireless mobile charger, an electrochromic IRVM, a JBL audio system, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, six airbags, and more. The eC3X by Citroen has a claimed range of 320 kilometres, once fully charged.

MG Windsor EV
The MG Windsor EV remained the best-selling electric car in the country in 2025. The Windsor by MG is the fourth most affordable electric car in India, and prices for the BaaS variant of the Windsor EV start from Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. The Windsor is also available with two options- a 38 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 332 kilometres and a 52.9 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 449 kilometres.
