Oben Rorr Electric Bike:  Oben Electric has launched the Oben Rorr EVO electric bike in India at an introductory price of Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, the bike will be offered at the introductory price to the first 10,000 customers, and post that, the bike will cost Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Let’s take a look at the design, range, and features of the newly launched Oben Rorr EVO electric bike.

Oben Rorr EVO: Design & Hardware

The Oben Rorr EVO electric motorcycle has the same sporty streetfighter design as the brand’s Rorr electric bike lineup. It features sharp body panels with a sleek DRL at the front, and a round LED projector headlamp setup. It has a single-piece seat, and the suspension duty is handled by telescopic forks at the front, whereas the rear has a 7-step adjustable monoshok suspension. It gets a sleek taillight at the rear, and it also offers 4 litres of tank storage along with 6 litres of underseat storage.

Oben Rorr EVO: Features

The Oben Rorr EVO comes equipped with several features, including a full LED lighting setup and a 5-inch colour TFT display. The bike also offers connected features such as Navigation, call and text alerts, music alerts, ride statistics, and live tracking. The Oben electric motorcycle also offers several safety and convenience features, including geo-fencing, theft protection, remote immobilisation, fall alert, and a driver alert system. Braking on the Oben Rorr EVO is handled by dual-disc brakes with a unified braking system.

Oben Rorr EVO: Range & Specs

The Oben Rorr EVO is designed for urban commuting, which is paired with practical usability. The Rorr EVO can sprint from 0-40 km/h in just 3 seconds, and it is one of the fastest in its segment. It is powered by a 3.4 kWh LFP battery pack, which is also IP67-certified. The motorcycle uses a chain-drive system, and it uses an electric motor that generates a peak power of 12 hp. The brand claims an IDC range of 180 kilometres, and the motorcycle can be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in 90 minutes. The brand is also offering an 8-year battery warranty on the motorcycle.
