Tata Sierra Dark Edition:  The Tata Sierra Dark Edition has been launched in India with prices starting from Rs 13.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Notably, the brand has also recently introduced the Legend Series of the Tata Sierra. Let’s take a look at the styling updates, variant-wise prices, features, and specs of the newly launched Tata Sierra Dark Edition.

Tata Sierra Dark Edition: Variants & Prices

The Sierra Dark Edition will be offered in a total of 6 trims: Pure L Dark, Pure L (O) Dark, Pure+ L Dark, Adventure+ L Dark, Accomplished Dark, and Accomplished+ Dark. All of these variants are spread across 3 engine options and two transmission options. The NA petrol is available with the options of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DCA transmission. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is available with the options of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AT automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo petrol engine is available exclusively with the 6-speed AT automatic transmission.

Tata Sierra Dark Edition: Exterior & Interior

The Tata Sierra Dark Edition comes with a slew of cosmetic changes on the exterior and inside the cabin. We have explained the changes on the outside and inside the cabin separately for better understanding.

Exterior

On the exterior, the Sierra is finished in a Freisian Black paint scheme as standard. In comparison to the standard model, all trims, including the alloy wheels and the skid plate on the Dark Edition, are finished in black. Additionally, the Dark Edition badge has also been positioned on the front fenders.

Interior

The all-black theme of the Sierra Dark Edition continues inside the cabin as well. However, the brand has added metallic pop accents on the front armrest, AC vents, door handles, front seatbacks, and more. The stitching is also finished in the purple shade. Tata Sierra Dark Edition: Engine & Specs

The Tata Sierra Dark Edition is also available with three engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine, a 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque-converter automatic transmission, and a 7-speed DCT transmission. The NA petrol engine on the Tata Sierra produces a peak power and torque output of 106 PS and 145 Nm, respectively. The turbo petrol engine on the Tata Sierra generates 160 PS and 255 Nm, while the diesel engine churns out 118 PS and 280 Nm of torque.
