Tata Aeris Interior: The Tata Aeris is set to be launched tomorrow in India, and it is essentially the updated model of the brand’s compact sedan, the Tata Tigor. The prototypes of the Tata Aeris have been spied on multiple occasions, and another prototype was recently spied completely undisguised. The brand has also been heavily teasing its upcoming compact sedan, and it has now shared a teaser of the interior of the Aeris. Let’s take a look at the expected design, features, and specs of the upcoming Tata Aeris.
Tata Aeris Interior Teased
The teaser shared by the brand shows several key details from the cabin of the Tata Aeris. As anticipated, the updated list of features on the Aeris closely resembles the recently launched Tata Tiago hatchback. The Aeris is expected to feature a dual-tone theme inside the cabin with beige and dark grey colours. The Aeris is expected to feature a 360-degree camera, a wireless charging pad, a new steering wheel, a rotary dial for drive selection, paddle shifters, and more. It also features a floating touchscreen infotainment system and a floating instrument cluster.

Tata Aeris: Design
The front fascia of the Tata Aeris features rectangular LED headlights with eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs. The headlamps are connected with a gloss black applique with the brand’s logo in the centre. It also features large air vents at the front, and the bumper looks sportier. The pixel-type LED fog lamps are positioned lower on the bumper. On the sides, dual-tone alloy wheels, ORVMs, black body cladding, and traditional pull-type door handles are visible. At the rear, it features wraparound LED taillights with the brand’s logo in the centre, and the Aeris badge is placed on the tailgate. Reflectors sit on either side of the rear bumper, complementing the front bumper and adding a muscular look. A shark antenna is placed on the roof, while a very subtle spoiler has an integrated stop lamp.

Tata Aeris: Expected Powertrain
While the Tata Aeris is expected to come equipped with several changes in terms of design and features, it will likely remain unchanged in terms of powertrain. We expect it to draw power from the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that can be paired with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission. The same engine can be had with the CNG fuel type. While the petrol mill generates a maximum power output of 86hp, with CNG it can generate a peak power output of 75.5hp.
The brand is also expected to launch an electric iteration of the Tata Aeris that will feature the same design elements (except the closed grille and EV bits). It is also expected to continue with the same 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh battery pack options, with a maximum claimed range of 285 Km in a single charge.
