Before buying an electric scooter, most people want one question answered: how far will it actually go on a single charge?
Manufacturers do publish certified range figures, but those are measured under standardised test conditions. Real roads are less forgiving. Traffic, repeated acceleration and braking, patchy surfaces, gradients and changing weather all affect how far a scooter gets on a charge.
The gap between claimed and real range
As the electric two-wheeler market grows, this gap remains one of buyers' biggest concerns. Many riders find that what they get day to day falls noticeably short of the certified number, which makes them doubt how predictable and reliable their scooter is.
Buyers today don't stop at the specifications. They want a scooter that performs steadily and gives them a range they can count on in the conditions they ride through every day.
Suzuki's starting point: how people actually ride
Suzuki's development team carried out extensive research across India, talking to EV and scooter users about their daily riding habits and what they expect from their vehicles. They found that EV riders use their scooters much the way conventional scooter riders do. Most travel less than 40 km a day, rarely go past 60 km/h, and care a great deal about product quality and reliability.
These findings guided the development of the Suzuki e-ACCESS, which was built around quality, everyday usability, battery reliability, and real-world performance. Its IDC-certified range is 95 km, and it is engineered to give daily commuters dependable mobility and long-term confidence.

Testing the e-ACCESS on the road
To see how the scooter performs outside a test setting, Suzuki took it on the Gurugram to Gangotri (G2G) ride campaign. The route took in a wide mix of riding conditions:
- Dense city traffic
- Open highways
- Hilly terrain
Throughout the journey, the team kept a close watch on battery levels, distance covered, changes in terrain, and feedback from the riders. The goal was simple: to find out not just what the certified range says, but how far riders can realistically expect to go in everyday conditions.
What Suzuki promises with the e-ACCESS
Electric mobility isn't only about reaching a number on a certificate. It's about giving customers a ride they can trust, day after day.
Drawing on Suzuki's engineering expertise and a focus on practical use, the e-ACCESS is designed to perform consistently whatever the conditions. Stuck in city traffic, cruising on a highway, or climbing hilly roads, riders should be able to count on it in the real world.
Confidence doesn't come from the range that's claimed. It comes from the range that's delivered.
Suzuki e-ACCESS: Real-World Range. Real-World Confidence.
