MG M9 Price Hike: MG, the British car manufacturer, announced a price hike effective from April 1, 2026. The recently announced price hike by MG has made two popular luxury models more expensive. The MG M9 and MG Cyberster will now cost up to Rs 5 lakh more. It is worth mentioning that the price hike is not uniform. Let’s take a look at the price hike and new prices of the MG M9 luxury electric MPV, along with the MG Cyberster.
MG M9 Price Hike
The MG M9 is an electric MPV that rivals the likes of the Toyota Vellfire, Kia Carnival, Mercedes-Benz V-Class, and Lexus LM. The MG M9 was introduced in the country in July 2025, and it has made its place in the garages of renowned personalities in India. The MG M9 has now become dearer by up to Rs 5 lakh. The M9 is offered exclusively in ‘Presidential Limousine’ variants in the country, which now costs Rs 75.9 lakh (ex-showroom).

MG M9: Range & Specs
The MG M9 comes equipped with a powerful 90 kWh magnesium-cobalt battery, which powers an electric motor placed at the front axle of the MPV. The electric motor on the luxury MPV can generate 245 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The MG M9 has a claimed range of up to 548 kilometres, once fully charged. The battery can be charged from 0-100 per cent in just 90 minutes using the 160 kW DC fast charger.

MG Cyberster Price Hike
The MG Cyberster is a convertible electric roadster offered by the brand in the country. The MG Cyberster will now cost Rs 2.5 lakh more. The Cyberster used to cost Rs 74.99 lakh (ex-showroom), but thanks to the recent price hike announced by the brand, the Cyberster is now priced at Rs 77.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

MG Cyberster Range & Specs
The MG Cyberster features dual electric motors on each axle for an all-wheel drive powertrain. The electric sports car by MG draws its energy from a 77 kWh battery, boasting a claimed range of up to 580 kilometres once fully charged. The all-electric powertrain on the MG Cyberster generates 510 hp and 725 Nm of torque. The brand claims that the Cyberster can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The brand also claims that its electric roadster can reach a top speed of up to 200 km /h.
