Mercedes-Benz GLS Night Edition:  The Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS Night Edition has been launched in India. While the Mercedes-Benz GLE Night Edition is priced at Rs 1.05 crore (ex-showroom), the Mercedes-Benz GLS Night Edition will cost Rs 1.43 crore (ex-showroom) in the country. The units of the special edition SUVs will be offered in limited numbers in the Indian market. Let’s take a look at what’s special about the newly launched Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS Night Editions.

Mercedes-Benz GLE & GLS Night Edition: Exterior

The Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS Night Edition feature blacked-out elements on the exterior, and the special edition will be offered in a total of two colour options: Obsidian Black and Alpine Grey. The Alpine Grey colour option will be exclusively offered with the Night Edition of the SUVs.

Mercedes-Benz GLE & GLS Night Edition: Interior

The interior of the Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS Night Edition features black Nappa leather upholstery, and it also features Anthracite open-pore oak wooden trim, which is exclusive to the Night Edition. A heads-up display will also be offered as standard with the special Night Edition of the SUVs, and the GLE Night Edition also comes fitted with an Airmatic air suspension as standard.

Mercedes-Benz GLE & GLS Night Edition: Engine

The Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS Night Editions will be offered with two powertrain options. The 300d model will be offered with a 1,950cc four-cylinder diesel engine, which creates peak power and torque output of 265 hp and 550 Nm, respectively. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds, and it has a top speed of 230 km/h. The 450 model of the Night Edition will be powered by a 2,999cc inline six petrol engine, which can generate a peak power and torque output of 375 hp and 500 Nm, respectively. Using the petrol engine, the SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds and it has a top speed of 250 km/h.
