Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Bioflex:  The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Flex Fuel was launched in India on June 15, 2026. Now, the brand has commenced deliveries of the Wagon R Flex Fuel in the national capital, Delhi. Notably, the Wagon R Flex Fuel is the first flex fuel car in the country, and the first batch of the flex fuel iteration of the popular hatchback was handed over to the Indian Sugar and Bio-Energy Manufacturers Association (ISMA). Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Flex Fuel: Price & Availability

Notably, the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Flex Fuel is available exclusively for the commercial sector in the country, as of now. The Wagon R flex fuel is based on the ZXi+ 1.2 P MT variant, and it costs Rs 86,000 more than the standard Wagon R variant. The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R flex fuel is priced at Rs 7.24 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Flex Fuel: Design & Interior

The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R flex fuel is identical to the standard Wagon R, in terms of design, and the only change on the exterior is the addition of ‘Flex Fuel’ graphics on the sides and the ‘Bioflex’ badge on the tailgate. The interior of the flex fuel iteration is also completely the same, and the Wagon R Flex Fuel comes equipped with a dual-tone theme, a three-spoke steering wheel, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and more.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Flex Fuel: Engine

The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Flex Fuel is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The brand has tweaked several parts, including the upgraded fuel injectors, fuel pumps, ethanol sensor, recalibrated ECU, and new fuel lines to make it compatible with E85 flex fuel. The brand has not yet revealed the power output and mileage figures. The standard model with the same engine generates 91 hp and 114 Nm of torque, and it has an ARAI-claimed mileage of up to 23.56 kilometres per litre.
