Maruti Suzuki Ignis Recall:  Maruti Suzuki, the largest car manufacturer in India, has issued a recall for its discontinued Ignis SUV over an issue related to the rear parking sensor. Notably, the Ignis was discontinued in April 2026, and it is no longer available for booking via the brand’s official Nexa website. Let’s take a closer look at the Maruti Suzuki Ignis recall.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis: The Issue

As mentioned earlier, the Maruti Suzuki Ignis has been recalled due to an issue with the rear parking sensor. The exact number of affected units and manufacturing timeline remains unknown at the moment, but as per a report by Autocar India, the brand has stated that ‘sometimes the reverse parking sensor may not work properly and the affected part will be replaced by the company to provide a better customer experience’.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis: What Owners Need To Do?

As per the report by Autocar, the brand has reached out to the affected customers. The brand has requested the owners of the affected units to reach out to their nearest authorised workshop. The report also clarifies that the part replacement will be done at no additional cost.
