Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift 2026 Vs Tata Nexon: Maruti Suzuki, the largest car manufacturer in India, recently launched the Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift 2026 in India with prices starting from Rs 7,39,900 (ex-showroom). The 2026 Brezza facelift has also scored a 5-star rating in crash tests organised by Bharat NCAP (BNCAP). The Tata Nexon is one of the fiercest rivals of the Brezza in the Indian market, and it also has a 5-star BNCAP rating. Moreover, both of these compact SUVs are priced more or less the same. Let’s take a look at the variant-wise price comparison of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift 2026 and the Tata Nexon.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift 2026: Engine Specifications
Before we go ahead with the variant-wise pricing of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift 2026, it is important to understand the engine and transmission offered with the compact SUV. The 2026 Brezza facelift is available with options of either a 1-litre turbo petrol engine or a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The turbo petrol engine is exclusively available with the option of a 6-speed Manual Transmission (MT), whereas the 1.5-litre Naturally Aspirated petrol engine can be paired with a choice of either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed Automatic Transmission (AT). While the turbo petrol engine can generate 110 hp and 170 Nm of torque, the NA petrol engine can generate a peak power and torque output of 102 hp and 139 Nm, respectively.

Tata Nexon: Engine Specifications
While the Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift 2026 is available with the option of a 1.5-litre Naturally Aspirated (NA) petrol engine or a 1-litre turbo petrol engine, the Tata Nexon is available with the option of a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The engine powering the Nexon can be paired with the choice of either a 5-speed Manual Transmission (MT), 6-speed MT, 6-speed Automatic Transmission (AMT), or a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT). The engine can generate a peak power and torque output of 118.27 hp and 170 Nm, respectively.

Tata Nexon: Variant-Wise Prices
The Tata Nexon with its petrol engine is available in more than 66 variants, depending on the transmission option. As mentioned above, the transmission options include a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 6-speed AMT, and 7-speed DCT. Prices for the Nexon petrol trims with 5-speed MT range from Rs 7.40 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 8.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Nexon petrol trims with 6-speed MT are priced between Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 12.65 lakh (ex-showroom). While Nexon trims with 6-speed AMT are priced between Rs 8.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 11.55 lakh (ex-showroom), prices for the variants with 7-speed DCT range from Rs 11.35 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom).
