Scorpio N Z2 Base Variant:  The Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift was recently launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 13.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Creta, priced from Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards, is one of the fierce contenders of the Scorpio N facelift. While the Creta has an entry-level price advantage, the mid- and top-spec trims of both SUVs compete neck-and-neck.

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Petrol: Variants & Prices

The Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift base-spec petrol trim is priced at Rs 13.69 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the top-spec trim with a petrol engine is priced at Rs 23.05 lakh (ex-showroom). You can check the variant-wise prices of the Scorpio N Facelift petrol variants in the table below:

Hyundai Creta Petrol: Variants & Prices

The Hyundai comes equipped with a smaller, 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, compared to the Scorpio N facelift’s bigger 2-litre turbo petrol engine. Additionally, the Creta also comes equipped with a 1.5-litre Naturally Aspirated (NA) petrol engine, which the Scorpio N Facelift misses out on. The Creta, with its turbo-petrol engine, is available solely in two variants: King and King DT. The former is priced at Rs 19.91 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the latter costs Rs 20.06 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Diesel: Variants & Prices

The Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift is also available with a diesel engine. While the base-spec trim of the Scorpio N Facelift diesel is priced at Rs 14.19 lakh (ex-showroom), the top-spec trim costs Rs 24.25 lakh (ex-showroom). You can check the variant-wise prices in the table below:

Hyundai Creta Diesel: Variants & Prices

The Hyundai Creta is also available with a diesel mill, although it gets a smaller 1.5-litre CRDi engine in comparison to the Scorpio N Facelift’s bigger 2-litre diesel engine. The Creta’s diesel engine can also be paired with the choice of either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT. While the base-spec trim is priced at Rs 12.52 lakh (ex-showroom), the top-spec trim costs Rs 20.11 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift: Engine

The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift retains the powertrain options offered with the outgoing model. The current model of the Mahindra Scorpio N comes equipped with the option of either a 2.0-litre turbo petrol or a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine. The transmission options include either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The turbo petrol engine can generate up to 203 hp and 370 Nm of torque, whereas the diesel mill is capable of churning out peak power and torque output of 175 hp and 400 Nm, respectively.

Hyundai Creta: Engine & Transmission

The Hyundai Creta is available with three engine options: a 1.5-litre Naturally Aspirated (NA) petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The turbo petrol engine can be exclusively paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission.

The turbo petrol engine can be exclusively paired with the choice of a 6-speed Manual Transmission (MT) or a 6-speed iVT gearbox. The diesel and transmission, on the other hand can be paired with the choice of a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AMT transmission.
