Mahindra Thar Price Increase July 2026:  Mahindra and Mahindra recently announced a new price hike that came into effect from July 10, 2026. The brand's recent price hike has made its SUVs dearer by up to 2.7 per cent, depending on the model and variant. Notably, the brand announced a price hike in January 2026, followed by another in April and a third in July 2026.

The Mahindra Thar is one of the most popular SUVs in India, and the third price hike has made it dearer by up to Rs 37,000. Additionally, another popular nameplate offered by the brand, the Mahindra XUV 3XO, has also become dearer in July 2026, and it is now up to Rs 30,000 more expensive. Let’s take a look at the model-wise price hike of the Mahindra Thar and the Mahindra XUV 3XO.

Mahindra Thar Price Hike July 2026: Up To Rs 37,000

The Mahindra Thar received a price hike ranging between Rs 27,000 and Rs 37,000, depending on the model and powertrain, in July 2026. While the Thar LXT trim Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) with a 2-litre petrol Automatic Transmission (AT) has received the least amount of hike, the top-spec Thar LXT 4WD with a 2.2-litre Diesel AT has received the highest hike. • The Mahindra Thar price hike in July 2026 ranges between Rs 27,000 and Rs 37,000
• The price hike on petrol trims of the Thar range between Rs 27,000 and Rs 36,000
• The price hike on diesel trims of the Thar range between Rs 29,500 and Rs 37,000
• Following the hike in January, April, and July, the Thar is now dearer by up to Rs 1,00,500

Mahindra XUV 3XO Price Hike July 2026

As mentioned earlier, the Mahindra XUV 3XO is the brand’s third-bestselling model in the country. The price hike on Mahindra XUV 3XO ranges between Rs 6,000 and Rs 30,000. The price hike on petrol trims of the XUV 3XO ranges between Rs 6000 and Rs 13,000, whereas on diesel trims, it ranges from Rs 6,000 to Rs 14,000. To make the price hike more understandable, we have divided it into two categories based on the powertrain options of either a turbo petrol or a diesel.

Mahindra XUV 3XO Petrol Trims Price Hike

The base-spec MX1 MT trim is now dearer by up to Rs 25,000, and it now costs Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The RevX M Manual trims of the XUV 3XO are now dearer by up to Rs 20,000, and it now costs Rs 8.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The RevX M (O) trim of the SUV has received a price hike of up to Rs 18,000, and it now costs Rs 9.09 lakh (ex-showroom).

The MX2 and MX3 trims have received a hike that ranges between Rs 6,000 and Rs 12,000. The hike on the AX5 trims of the SUV range between Rs 12,000 and Rs 30,000, and the AX5 MT trim has received a hike of Rs 30,000. The hike on AX7 trims ranges between Rs 12,000 and Rs 15,000. The AX7 dual-tone trim with a Manual Transmission is now priced at Rs 12.19 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the AX7 Luxury dual-tone trim is now priced at Rs 15.04 lakh (ex-showroom).

• The Mahindra XUV 3XO petrol trims have received a hike ranging between Rs 6,000 and Rs 30,000
• The MX2/MX3 trims have received the least amount of hike, of Rs 6,000, whereas the AX5 trims have received the highest hike
• After the price hike in July 2026, the prices for the XUV 3XO now start at Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom)
• The top-spec variant now costs Rs 15.04 lakh (ex-showroom), after the third price hike came into effect in July 2026

Mahindra XUV 3XO Diesel Trim Price Hike

Only a total of 3 diesel trims of the Mahindra XUV 3XO have received a price hike in July 2026. The MX2 trim with Manual Transmission (MT) has received a price hike of Rs 14,000 in July 2026, and it now costs Rs 9.36 lakh (ex-showroom). The MX2 Pro trim with a Manual Transmission has received a price hike of Rs 9,900, and it now costs Rs 9.99b lakh (ex-showroom). The MX3 trim with MT has received a price hike of Rs 12,000, and it now costs Rs 10.13 lakh (ex-showroom).

• The price hike on the Mahindra XUV 3XO diesel trims ranges between Rs 9,900 and Rs 14,000
