Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition:  Mahindra recently announced the buyback offer for the first 999 units of the Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition. Notably, the brand introduced the second batch of the BE6 Batman Edition, and similar to the first batch, the 999 units from the second batch were also sold out in a few minutes. Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition: The First & Second Batch

The Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition was launched in India in August 2025. The Batman Edition of the BE6 was a result of the collaboration between Mahindra and Warner Bros DC comics. Initially, the BE 6 Batman edition was limited to 300 units, which was increased to 999 units by the brand later, and all of these units were sold out within 135 seconds. The brand later introduced a second batch of the Mahindra BE6 Batman edition, citing the high demand for consumers. However, the introduction of the second batch created an issue amongst the consumers.

Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition: Unhappy Customers

As the brand introduced the second batch of Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition, owners of the first batch claimed that the introduction of another batch goes against the brand’s claim of the BE6 Batman Edition being a limited-run car. Thus, the brand faced severe backlash from the consumers, and responding to the consumers’ backlash, the brand introduced a buyback offer for the first batch of owners. Notably, the offer is valid for 30 days, and it has begun from March 18, 2026. Interested consumers can contact their nearest dealership regarding the offer.

Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition: Design & Powertrain

The Batman Edition is equipped with a 79kWh battery and a 282bhp, rear axle-mounted electric motor. The battery yields a claimed range of 683km (ARAI). On offer are 7.2kW and 11kW AC chargers. The BE 6 Batman Edition gets a treatment similar to all Dark Editions. Launched in partnership with Warner Bros, the Batman Edition features a custom Satin Black paint, along with Batman-themed decals, 'The Dark Knight' badging, and Alchemy Gold brake callipers.
