‘Made In India’ Michelin Primacy 5 Passenger Car Tyre Launched: Prices Start From Rs 10,000

Michelin Primacy 5 Tyre Price:  Michelin, a major French car tyre manufacturer, has today announced the launch of its Michelin Primacy 5 passenger car tyre in India. The Michelin Primacy 5 car tyre was unveiled last year, and its launch marks a significant milestone for the Indian automotive landscape, as the brand has a long history of manufacturing performance car tyres. It is worth mentioning that the Primacy 5 is also the first passenger car tyre to be manufactured in the country.

Michelin Primacy 5: Size & Price

The Michelin Primacy 5 tyre range is available in sizes ranging from 16 to 22 inches, and the prices start from Rs 10,000 onwards, depending on the size. As per the brand, the Primacy 5 tyres have been designed and tested for various Indian driving conditions, and they combine advanced tread pattern optimisation and next-generation rubber compounds to deliver long-lasting safety, comfort, handling, and energy efficiency for internal combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles.

Michelin Primacy 5: Safety, Longevity, & Comfort

The brand claims that the Michelin Primacy 5 has been designed to provide enhanced safety in comparison to competitors. The company claims that the Primacy 5 tyre delivers braking distances that are up to 8 metres shorter when new and 9 metres shorter when worn than leading competitors. Primacy 5 is also claimed to deliver a 4-metre shorter dry braking distance when compared to leading competing tyres from the same category.

The Primacy 5 range of passenger car tyres also provides enhanced durability and comfort as it is claimed to offer a 9 per cent better comfort score than the competitors. The brand also claims that the Primacy 5 has an 8 per cent longer life than the Primacy 4ST tyre. Michelin Primacy 5 has a 6.5 per cent lower rolling resistance, which might increase fuel economy in ICE vehicles and enhance range in electric vehicles.
