Kawasaki KLX230 Warranty Plan: Kawasaki India has announced an expansion of its extended warranty programme, extending the coverage from 7 years (over the standard 3 years) to up to 10 years. Customers can also avail of 2- and 4-year extended warranty plans. With the 3-year standard warranty already covering engine parts and gearbox components, the coverage extends to 5 and 7 years, respectively. Kawasaki states that the extended warranty can be claimed at the time of booking, allowing riders to enjoy up to 10 years of protection from the outset. In total, there are three extended warranty plans to choose from: a 2-year, a 4-year, and a 7-year.

Extended warranty programs aside, the rest of the Kawasaki KLX 230 remains the same. The dual-sport bike continues to feature a 233cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 19bhp/19Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock, both with long-wheel travel. The bike gets a 21/18-inch spoke wheel combination, a 7.5-litre fuel tank, and 255mm ground clearance. Features-wise, the KLX 230 offers single-channel ABS and a basic LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity.

Presently, the 2026 Kawasaki KLX 230 is priced at Rs 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom), with heavy localisation and reduced tax under GST 2.0. As for the 2025 version, prospective buyers must shell out Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The KLX 230 rivals the Hero Xpulse 210in the segment.
