Honda Rebel 500 Price In India:  Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) recently showcased 10 products as part of its upcoming India lineup. The Honda Rebel 500 was also a part of the showcased products, and it is expected to be launched soon in the Indian market. Prices for the Honda Rebel 500 were leaked ahead of its official debut, but a new report has shared new information about the Honda Rebel 500 price in India. Let’s take a look.

Honda Rebel 500 Price Leak & New Report

Some of the regional Honda BigWing websites had listed the Honda Rebel 500 at Rs 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Last year, the Honda Rebel 500 was priced at Rs 5.12 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike would have been priced at Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom), as mentioned on some BigWing websites, if it had been offered as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) in the country. However, the bike will be locally manufactured, and a recent report suggests that it might be priced under Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.

Honda Rebel 500: Design

The Honda Rebel 500 is a lifestyle cruiser, and its smaller sibling, the Honda Rebel 300, is also expected to be launched this year in the country. The Rebel 500 gets a low-slung minimalistic design with round LED headlamps, LED turn indicators, a round TFT instrument cluster, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and a rectangular LED taillight. The suspension duty on the motorcycle is handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It gets alloy wheels, and the braking duty is handled by discs at the front and rear tyres.

Honda Rebel 500: Features & Engine

The Honda Rebel 500 is expected to come equipped with a TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and alerts for calls and messages. It will also feature Honda’s E-clutch technology, dual-channel ABS, traction control, and more. The Rebel 500 is expected to be powered by a 471cc twin-cylinder engine, which will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine can generate a peak power and torque output of 46 hp and 43.3 Nm, respectively.
