Honda ADV 160 Maxi Scooter:  Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI) today unveiled 10 two-wheelers of its future lineup for the Indian market. The Honda ADV 160 is also a part of the unveiled models, and it is also the first scooter to support up to E85 fuel blend standards. The brand has shared that the Honda ADV 160 will be locally manufactured in the country, and its launch timeline will be revealed soon. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and engine specifications of the newly unveiled Honda ADV 160 scooter in India.

Honda ADV 160: Design & Hardware

The Honda ADV 160 gets adventure-inspired styling, and the brand has further shared that the scooter has an SUV-like presence. The ADV 160 by Honda features a tall adjustable windscreen. The twin LED headlights are placed on the front apron, and it also gets block-patterned tyres. The scooter gets a single-piece seat, and it gets X-shaped taillights, along with all LED turn signals. The suspension duty is handled by telescopic forks at the front, and it gets dual-twin shock absorbers at the rear. The scooter also gets grab rails at the rear, and the passenger seat is a little elevated.

Honda ADV 160: Features

The adventure-inspired scooter by Honda also comes packed with a slew of features. It gets a TFT instrument cluster with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity. Additional features offered with the ADV 160 include a single-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control (Traction), and a USB charging port.

Honda ADV 160: Engine Specifications

The Honda ADV 160 will draw its power from a 157cc single-cylinder engine. The engine is paired to a CVT automatic transmission, and it is capable of generating a peak power and torque output of 16.3 hp and 14.9 Nm, respectively. As mentioned earlier, the scooter is E85 compatible, which means that it can run on fuel blends comprising 85 per cent ethanol and 15 per cent petrol.
