Formula 1 In India: Formula 1 is one of the most elite, single-seat automobile racing sports in the world, and it has garnered significant attention in recent years across the globe. Union Minister of Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, recently said that he is pushing for F1 races in 2027 by streamlining the tax hurdles, which led to the event leaving the country in 2013. Motorsports have not returned to India ever since. Is Formula 1 coming back to India in 2027?

Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya recently told the media that he is in talks with at least three companies to run the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida. Mandaviya also said that "There will be an F1 race in India in 2027. First race will be at the Buddh International Circuit." However, Formula 1 replied to the speculations of Formula 1 being held in India in 2027.

India Is Market Of Interest: F1
Formula 1 Media quickly acted on the comment and shared that it won’t be racing in India in 2027. However, there's positive news for F1 enthusiasts. The F1 media also shared that India is a valuable market for Formula 1’s continued growth with a passionate and amazing fanbase. The F1 media further shared that organizing and delivering races are complex matters that take time. This being said, the F1 is looking at India as a valuable market, and it could make a comeback to the country in the near future with the help of the Indian government, which is now also trying to streamline the hurdles that were previously present in the system.
