Citroen eC3 EV:  Citroen, the French car manufacturer, has launched its entry-level electric car, the Citroen eC3X, in the country with Battery as a Service (BaaS) variant priced at Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The battery rental is priced at Rs 2.26 per kilometre. The battery-fitted version of the eC3X is priced at Rs 10.25 lakh (ex-showroom), and the brand has also commenced the bookings. Let’s take a look at the design, features, range, and specs of the newly launched Citroen eC3 X.

Citroen eC3X: Design

The Citroen eC3X retains overall design and silhouette as its ICE counterpart. At the front, it gets LED DRLs, signature grille, fog lamps, and a muscular bash plate. On the sides, it gets 15-inch alloy wheels and a thick black body cladding. The eC3X will be offered in a total of 6 colour options, including Polar White, Steel Grey, Perla Nera Black, Garnet Red, Deep Forest Green, and Cosmo Blue.

Citroen eC3X: Features

The cabin of the Citroen eC3X has a similar layout to the previous generation model. The dashboard is finished in electric blue accents, and the electric iteration of the C3X gets Tone Lama Leatherette upholstery for seats. It features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. In terms of features, the SUV is packed with a wireless mobile charger, an electrochromic IRVM, a JBL audio system, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, six airbags, and more.

Citroen eC3X: Range & Specs

The Citroen eC3X is powered by a 29.2 kWh battery pack. The electric motor on the eC3X can generate a peak power and torque output of 57hp and 143 Nm, respectively. The eC3X also supports DC fast charging, and it can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in just 57 minutes. The brand claims a range of 320 Km for the eC3X, once fully charged.
