BYD Atto 2 Range: BYD, the renowned Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, is planning to strengthen its India lineup by launching several products. The brand has recently showcased its DMi hybrid technology in India, and it is expected to launch a new Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) in the Indian market. The BYD Atto 2 is also expected to be launched in the country by the end of this year, and a prototype of the BYD Atto 2 electric SUV was recently spied testing on Indian roads. Let’s take a look at the design, features, range, and specs of the BYD Atto 2 electric SUV.
BYD Atto 2: Design Details
Atto 2 was spotted heavily disguised, but the testing mule reveals a few design details. The SUV gets a unique design for the taillamps, along with a noticeable rear spoiler. The bumper is recognizable, and it is complemented by a sculpted body. The BYD Atto 2 gets sleek LED headlamps along with a blacked-out closed grille with the BYD logo on it. The lower part of the front bumper houses air vents to provide cooling to the battery.

BYD Atto 2: Features
The BYD Atto 2 gets premium interiors, and it features vegan upholstery inside. The electric compact SUV by BYD gets an 8.8-inch fully digital driver’s display, along with a 12.8-inch rotatable touchscreen-based infotainment system. In some markets, the BYD Atto 2 is also available with a 15.6-inch display for the infotainment system. The SUV also gets heating and ventilation functions for the front seats. It also features a level-2 ADAS suite to enhance passenger safety.

BYD Atto 2: Range
The brand offers the Atto 2 with a 45.1 kWh battery globally. The electric compact SUV by BYD gets a front-wheel drive powertrain. It has a single-mounted electric motor, which can generate 175 hp and 290 Nm of torque. The Atto 2 has a claimed range of up to 380 kilometers once fully charged, and the top speed of the electric compact SUV is limited to 160 km/h.
