BMW M440i Convertible Review:  From dreams to popular Bollywood songs, open-top cars have remained some of the most desired vehicles. The BMW M400i xDrive Convertible 2026 is set to enter the Indian market soon. While most convertibles are purely cosmetic, the BMW M440i is serious business, with its 369 bhp six-cylinder engine paired with an all-wheel-drive system. The Jagran Hitech team recently got a chance to spend some time with the upcoming BMW M400i xDrive Convertible 2026, and here’s why we think it is perfect for India.

BMW M440i Convertible: Design

The BMW M440i xDrive Convertible 2026 features the brand’s signature oversized grille, adaptive LED headlights, a soft-top roof, and the brand’s signature CSL-style taillights. The 19-inch wheels on the sides add to its sportier appearance. The ORVMs, front grille, and air flanks are finished in gloss black, and it also gets a black soft roof that can be retracted in just 18 seconds.

BMW M440i Convertible: Features

The BMW M440i xDrive Convertible 2026 features a 14.9-inch curved display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It also features sports seats with memory function, an automatic climate control system, and an automatic climate control. The seats also come equipped with memory function, Level 2 ADAS, plus parking assistance, and more.

BMW M440i Convertible: Performance

The BMW M440i xDrive Convertible 2026 is powered by a 3-litre inline six-cylinder B58 engine, which is paired with xDrive AWD configuration. The engine is paired with an 8-speed ZF gearbox, and it is capable of generating a peak power and torque output of 369 bhp and 500 Nm, respectively. It can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, and it has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
