Tata Punch EV 2026

The Tata Punch EV 2026 has become the second most affordable electric car in India, post-launch. The Punch EV 2026 will be offered in two versions- Medium Range (MR) trims with a 30 kWh battery, and Long Range (LR) trims with a 40 kWh battery pack. The Punch EV with BaaS costs Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom), and it has an ARAI-claimed range of up to 468 kilometres.

Tata Tiago EV

The Tata Tiago EV is the third most affordable electric car in India, with a price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Tiago EV also comes with the options of two battery packs- a 19.2 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 250 kilometres, and a 24 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 315 kilometres.

MG Windsor EV

The MG Windsor EV is the fourth most affordable electric car in India. The Windsor EV is also available in a Battery as a Service (BaaS) version, which is priced from Rs 9.99 lakh onwards. The Windsor is also available with two options- a 38 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 332 kilometres and a 52.9 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 449 kilometres.

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara

The Maruti Suzuki E Vitara is the most recent entrant to the list, as prices for its BaaS (Battery as a Service) version start as low as Rs 10.99 lakh. The first-ever all-electric SUV from the largest car manufacturer in India is available in two options: a 42 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 440 kilometres and a 61 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 543 kilometres.
