Audi SQ8 India Launch: The Audi SQ8 has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.78 Crore (ex-showroom) in India. The SQ8 will be placed between the standard Audi Q8 and the Audi Q8 RS in the brand’s lineup in the country. The SQ8 features several small and large elements that set it apart from the standard Audi Q8. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and engine specs of the newly launched Audi Q8.
Audi SQ8: Design
The overall contour of the Audi SQ8 looks largely the same as the regular Audi Q8 SUV. However, a few design details have been added to give it a distinctive look. At the front, the Audi SQ8 features larger air dams and a blacked-out octagonal grille with vertical chrome slats. The part surrounding the grille is finished in a satin silver shade, while the Q8 has a blacked-out one. On the rear, the S badging on the tailgate differentiates the SQ8 from the regular Q8 SUV.

Audi SQ8: Exterior
The interior of the Audi SQ8 also largely mirrors the regular Audi Q8 SUV. The cabin features leatherette and alcantara upholstery. In terms of features, the Audi SQ8 comes equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system and a similarly sized screen for the fully digital instrument cluster. Other notable features might include a panoramic sunroof, a heads-up display, electrically powered front seats with ventilation and massage functions, a Level 2 ADAS suite, and more.

Audi SQ8: Engine Specs
The most significant factor that sets the Audi SQ8 and the regular Audi Q8 apart is the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine placed beneath the bonnet. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and it generates a peak power and torque output of 507hp and 770 Nm, respectively. The Audi SQ8 also features rear wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, and the Quattro All Wheel Drive system. The brand claims that the Audi SQ8 can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, and it has an electronically limited speed of 250 km/h.
