Mahindra Thar Roxx Military ATV Price: Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, recently shared pics of a new All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) on the social media platform X. The new ATV appears to be based on the Mahindra Thar Roxx. However, it has been heavily modified for military applications. Let’s take a look at the details of the newly unveiled Mahindra ATV.
Mahindra Thar Roxx Military ATV: Design
The Mahindra Thar Roxx-based ATV looks absolutely war-zone ready and indestructible. The SUV has the same 6 slatted blacked-out grille, round LED lights with circular LED DRLs, a rugged and muscular front bumper, wheel arches with integrated turn signals, and more. The ATV features a no-nonsense, fully stripped-down design with a windshield guard, and it is also said to come equipped with several elements designed specifically for military applications.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Military ATV: Airborne Ready
As per several media reports, the Mahindra Thar Roxx-based ATV is also Airborne-ready, which means that it can be deployed via air. Additionally, the Thar Roxx-based ATV also comes equipped with a front-mounted winch, a gun-mount provision, jerrycan holders for extended range, full underbody protection, and a dual spare wheel setup.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Military ATV: Engine
Looking at the design and overall contour of the ATV, it looks like the Mahindra Thar Roxx. The brand has not revealed the engine specs of the Thar Roxx-based ATV. We expect it to use the same engine options of either a 2.2-litre diesel or a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. While the diesel generates peak power and torque output of 172 hp and 370 Nm, respectively, the petrol engine can churn out 174 hp and 380 Nm.
