2026 VinFast VF8:  VinFast, the Vietnamese electric car manufacturer, recently unveiled a new-generation model of its popular electric SUV, the VinFast VF8, in its home market. The 2026 VinFast VF8 has been updated in terms of design, interior, and software. With this, the VinFast VF8 has become the only model in the brand’s lineup to receive a second-generation model. Let’s take a look at the design, features, and range of the newly unveiled 2026 VinFast VF8 electric SUV.

2026 VinFast VF8: Design

The 2026 VinFast VF8 comes equipped with the brand’s signature wing-shaped LED DRLs with a V-Shaped connected lighting setup. It also features a large closed gloss black grille at the front with active air vents positioned vertically, and sleek horizontal air vents placed low on the bumper. On the sides, it gets newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels and a thin blacked-out body cladding. The rear design has also been revised, and the 2026 VF8 comes equipped with a V-shaped connected taillight.

2026 VinFast VF8: Features

The 2026 VinFast VF8 has also been updated in terms of interior and features. The interior has been redesigned, and it gets a new 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The brand has also added a separate digital driver’s display, and it also gets a new two-spoke steering wheel, along with a steering-column-mounted gear selector. In terms of features, the new VinFast VF8 comes equipped with a dual-zone climate control system, powered seats with memory function, reclining rear seats, an 8-speaker audio system, and an ADAS suite.

2026 VinFast VF8: Range & Specs

The 2026 VinFast VF8 is powered by a front-mounted electric motor, which is capable of generating a peak power and torque output of 228 hp and 330 Nm, respectively. The electric motor is powered by a 60.13 kWh battery pack, and it has an NEDC claimed range of up to 500 kilometres. It also supports fast charging and can be charged from 10 to 70 per cent in just 30 minutes.
