2026 Tata Tiago Vs Old Tata Tiago:  The 2026 Tata Tiago has been launched with prices starting from Rs 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The new generation model of the brand’s most affordable offering comes equipped with several changes in terms of design, features, and interior. As mentioned earlier, the 2026 Tata Tiago comes equipped with several changes in terms of its design. The new Tiago features sleek Eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs with LED headlights, pixel-shaped LED fog lamps, and a black grille, which now looks cleaner. Additionally, the new Tiago gets redesigned front and rear bumpers, along with black wheel arches and a set of 15-inch alloy wheels. The taillight design on the rear is also new, while it misses out on the chrome strip that ran between the front grille and bumper in the previous- generation model.

The 2026 Tata Tiago comes equipped with a modern interior compared to the previous-generation model. One of the key features is the new dual-tone theme with grey and black shades. The light grey fabric on the door cards, front armrest, and certain sections of the dashboard is also a new addition to the cabin. The gloss black accents are visible not just on the steering wheel but also on the door armrests, centre console, and AC panel. The LCD instrument cluster has been replaced by a new free-floating screen with Bluetooth connectivity. The new-generation model also features redesigned AC vents, along with Rear AC vents. In terms of features, the Tiago 2026 comes equipped with Type-C charging ports, a 4-speaker audio system, cruise control, wireless phone charger, an automatic climate control system, a cooled glovebox, and more. The new Tiago also features a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags as standard, a blind spot monitor, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and rear parking sensors.

2026 Tata Tiago Vs Old Tiago: Powertrain

This is the only similarity between the new-generation Tata Tiago and the previous-generation model of the hatchback. The powertrain remains unchanged, and the Tiago continues with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that can be paired with a choice of either a manual transmission or an automatic transmission. The engine is capable of generating a peak power output of 86 hp with petrol, while it generates 76 hp with the CNG fuel type. However, the brand has added pedal shifters to the CNG version, which is a segment-first feature.
