2026 Renault Duster India: The 2026 Renault Duster was launched in India on March 17, 2026. The 2026 Duster recently secured a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP (BNCAP). The Duster is priced between Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 18.49 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. Let’s take a look at the safety ratings and features of the 2026 Renault Duster.
2026 Renault Duster: Safety Ratings
As mentioned above, the 2026 Renault Duster has secured a 5-star rating in crash tests organised by BNCAP. The SUV by Renault has secured a 5-star rating with a total of 30.49 points out of a maximum of 32 points in terms of Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), and it has secured a total of 45 points out of a total of 49 points in terms of Child Occupant Protection (COP).

2026 Renault Duster: Safety Features
The 2026 Renault Duster comes equipped with several advanced safety features, such as 6 airbags, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), a traction control system, and cornering stability control. The 2026 Duster also features ISOFIX child seat mounts and a 360-degree camera, and the higher-spec trims of the SUV also feature a Level 2 ADAS suite with more than 17 features.

2026 Renault Duster: Engine
The 2026 Renault Duster will be offered in a total of 3 powertrain options: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine, and a 1.8-litre strong hybrid engine option. The variant with the Strong Hybrid engine option will be launched sometime around Diwali 2026. The 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine can churn out a peak power and torque output of 163 PS and 280 Nm, respectively. The transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) automatic gearbox options.
