Notably, the prototypes of the 2026 City have been spied on several occasions in the country, and it was recently spied completely undisguised at a dealer showroom. As mentioned earlier, the brand has recently teased the 2026 Honda City facelift officially ahead of its launch on May 22, 2026. The brand has shared a pic of the City facelift, which is covered by a black cloth, and the only visible element is the LED lightbar at the front. The brand has shared the image with a caption, ‘Gear Up For A Different Vibe’. The brand's Instagram post has accumulated more than 7,000 likes and 200 comments so far.

2026 Honda City Facelift: Expected Design
As mentioned earlier, the 2026 Honda City facelift was recently spied completely undisguised at the dealer showroom. At the front, it gets new sleek signature LED DRLs with a connecting LED light bar. The new set of LED headlamps is also visible on the prototype, and it features a completely redesigned bumper with redesigned air vents at the front and rear. The fresh design makes the City facelift 2026 more aggressive and minimalistic. At the rear, it features a diffuser integrated within the rear bumper. The taillight design is somewhat similar, but it gets a fresh styling element.

2026 Honda City Facelift: Expected Features
Similar to the design, the brand is expected to equip the 2026 Honda City facelift with minor interior and feature changes. In terms of interior, we can expect the upcoming Honda City to feature new upholstery, a new theme, and a redesigned dashboard layout. In terms of features, the Honda City facelift might come equipped with a 360-degree camera, whereas it will retain features such as an 8-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system, a 7-inch full HD colour TFT instrument cluster, and more, as the current model on sale.

2026 Honda City Facelift: Expected Engine
The Powertrain on the Honda City facelift 2026 will likely remain the same as the outgoing model. The current model of the Honda City draws its power from a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which can be paired with a choice of either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed CVT transmission. The NA petrol engine on the Honda City can generate a peak power and torque output of 121 PS and 145 Nm, respectively. The Honda City e: HEV model has a peak power of 126 PS, and it offers a segment-best mileage of up to 27.26 Km/l.
