Googe has just introduced yet another model of its AI assistant, the Gemini 3.1 Pro. This one as usual offer offers much better reasoning then the previous model as the tech giant refines its flagship AI suits further. This new upgrade will be able to handle complex prompts/querries/ problems as well as multiple tasks, with ease. This latest upgraded model is now available on the Gemini App, NotebookLM, and other developer platforms that includes Google AI Studio, Antigravity and Vortex AI.

Google Gemini 3.1 Pro Whats In It?

This new upgrade focuses on core reasoning of the AI suite, with higher capabilities when it comes to handling multiple tasks at a time, a thing that most tech-giants in the AI industry are focusing on lately. This the company claims has been reflected in its latest benchmarking of the AI Suite, tested on the ARC-AGI-2 benchmark, it basically test AI's ability to solve complex logic patterns, while testing on this benchmark, the Gemini 3.1 Pro was able to achieve a score of 77.1% more than double of what Gemini 3 Pro scored.

The company claims that this model is here to give detailed answers to complex querries where simple answers just arnt enough. If we consider its practical usage, this can help in clearly understanding a subject, with visual explanations, as well as summarise it for you in a single view.

How to access it

Google has rolled out a preview of Gemini 3.1 Pro, giving early access to a select group of users as it tests the model for more advanced, agentic workflows. For now, the model is available within the Gemini app and NotebookLM.

Subscribers to Google AI Pro and Ultra plans can try it out, although access comes with certain feature limitations at this stage. On the developer side, Gemini 3.1 Pro is accessible through Google AI Studio via the Gemini API, as well as tools like Gemini CLI, Antigravity, Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, and even Android Studio.
