Xiaomi 17 And Xiaomi 17 Ultra To Debut Globally This Month, Spotted On Geekbench

The launch of the Xiaomi 17 series has been confirmed, and it is going to take place later this month. The two devices expected this time are the Xiaomi 17 vanilla variant and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The vanilla variant marked its debut in China in September of 2025 with the Pro and Pro Max variants, and the Ultra variant was dropped in December of last year. Some specs like pricing, storage, and color options of the global variants have surfaced online, and the Ultra variant was also spotted on Geekbench recently.

Xiaomi 17 Series to Launch in Barcelona

Xiaomi has confirmed through an official microsite that the Xiaomi 17 series is set to make its global debut on February 28. While the brand hasn’t explicitly named the lineup yet, the teaser visual clearly highlights the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, shown in a Starry Green finish. The standard Xiaomi 17 is also expected to launch alongside the Ultra variant.

In the run-up to the event, Xiaomi has also detailed some post-purchase benefits on its website. Buyers of the Xiaomi 17 series will receive a 24-month quality assurance plan, along with one complimentary screen replacement within the first six months. Additionally, during the warranty period, customers can opt for out-of-warranty repairs without being charged labor fees.

The Xiaomi 17 is expected to start at EUR 999 (around Rs. 1,07,000) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The higher 12GB + 512GB model could be priced at EUR 1,099 (roughly Rs. 1,18,000). Globally, the phone may be offered in black, green, blue, and pink finishes.

For the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, reports suggest a starting price of EUR 1,499 (about Rs. 1,61,000) for the 16GB + 512GB version, while the 16GB + 1TB configuration could go up to EUR 1,699 (around Rs. 1,83,000). The global model is likely to arrive in black, white, and green color options.

While Xiaomi has yet to confirm an India launch timeline, early expectations hint at a price of around Rs. 80,000 for the Xiaomi 17 and approximately Rs. 125,000 for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. If these figures hold true, both devices would debut at higher price points than their predecessors, which were launched at Rs. 64,999 and Rs. 1,09,999, respectively.
