Amazfit has officially unveiled the T-Rex Ultra 2 in global markets, and this one clearly isn’t meant for casual users. Built for extreme conditions, the smartwatch focuses heavily on durability, long battery life, and serious outdoor tracking features.

Right away, the design tells you what it’s about. The watch features a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a 480x480 resolution and a sharp 322 ppi pixel density. It can hit an impressive 3,000 nits of peak brightness, making it easy to read even under harsh sunlight. To make it more rugged, Amazfit has added sapphire glass protection on top. The body is made from Grade 5 titanium and measures 51 mm, giving it a bold, sturdy presence on the wrist. It carries a 10 ATM rating, meaning it can handle water pressure equivalent to depths of 100 meters, and it is certified for diving up to 45 meters.

Health tracking remains a major focus. The T-Rex Ultra 2 uses Amazfit’s BioTracker 6.0 PPG sensor to monitor heart rate, blood oxygen levels (SpO2), stress, and skin temperature. There’s also a one-tap measurement feature for quick health snapshots. Sleep tracking, menstrual tracking, detailed sleep scores, breathing exercises, and altitude prompts are all part of the package.

For outdoor routing, the smartwatch features dual-band GPS support for six satellite systems and a circularly polarized GPS antenna. Additionally, the smartwatch features offline map support and reminder notifications for checkpoints, which can be useful during treks and trail running. The smartwatch features a full set of sensors, including an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, barometric altimeter, ambient light sensor, and temperature sensor. Fitness tracking is extensive, with support for 187 sports modes. Users can create training templates and set up interval sessions through the Zepp app. Runners get features like Track Run mode, smart trajectory correction, and a virtual pacer. There’s also a BioCharge energy monitoring feature that estimates energy levels throughout the day. A built-in flashlight with multiple brightness settings adds a practical touch for outdoor use.

Storage is generous as well. The watch also has 64GB of internal storage for apps, music, and offline maps. The connectivity options of the watch include Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, and BLE, which allows the user to make and receive calls using the watch.

With GPS tracking active, it can deliver up to 50 hours in Accurate mode and 90 hours in Power-Saving mode.

The Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 is priced at $549.99 (roughly Rs. 50,000) and is available in Black Magma. It is currently on sale in select global markets through Amazfit’s official website and Amazon.
