Contrary to previous teases, Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has now confirmed the India release date for its first over-ear wireless headphones, the CMF Headphone Pro. It is due to launch on January the 13th, 2026 – that’s right in the middle of a week-three-of-January slot! A major addition for CMF, which has been until now focusing on earbuds and neckbands, and it means the brand now enters into a rapidly expanding over-ear headphone market in India.

CMF Headphone Pro India Launch Details

CMF has also announced that the Headphone Pro will be made available in light grey, dark grey and light green in India, the same hues it has been offering in other countries. The company claims the headphones are designed for all-day listening, comfort and big battery life.

CMF is yet to announce the India price as well as the day of sale – it has said that “pricing and availability” will be made available closer to the January 13 launch date.

What the CMF Headphone Pro Offers (Based on the Global Model)

Last year’s CMF Headphone Pro marks the brand's launch of its global debut as it released its first over-ear wireless headset. It was announced at a $99 (approximately Rs 8,700) price and is selling for $79 (roughly Rs 7,100) in some markets now, which should give you a ballpark of where Indian pricing will fall.

The headphones are powered by 40mm dynamic drivers with a reported frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz. Noise cancellation is provided as well, and it is rated at a maximum of 40 dB and works in conjunction with the five-microphone arrangement to enhance call quality. There's also a transparency mode for situational awareness.

Battery performance also is a strong point. CMF says you can get up to 100 hours of playtime without ANC with the AAC codec. With ANC on and LDAC in play, battery life goes down to about 38 hours –– which is still up there. The earbuds support fast charging, with a five-minute charge providing up to four hours of playback time, and with USB Type-C, they deliver around two hours.

Other highlights include Bluetooth 5.4, dual-device pairing, LDAC support, EQ controls to tailor sound to your liking and a 120 ms low-latency mode for gamers, along with IPX2 splash resistance and Find My Headphones features, not forgetting the array of on-device physical controls.

Why This Launch Matters

The Indian market for over-ear headphones is constantly growing; buyers are demanding more and more ANC, long battery life, comfort and app-based customisation at affordable prices. It seems like CMF is setting the Headphone Pro up to be a compelling value-orientated offering in this segment.

And it will come down to how competitively it is priced in India. If CMF can maintain something close to that pricing trend globally, the Headphone Pro would be a very attractive proposition as an alternative to established mid-range marques. Now that announcement has come and gone, with all the info we’re going to get until launch day on January 13.
