Adobe Joins Hands With NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime
At the India AI Impact Summit 2026, Adobe signalled a big shift in how it plans to engage with students in India. The company announced that its AI-driven tools such as Photoshop, Acrobat and Firefly will be made available free of cost to students enrolled in recognised higher education institutions across the country. Adobe positioned this move as a long-term bet on India’s creative and digital future, saying it aims to speed up the adoption of AI-powered creativity and productivity.
But this is not just about giving students free software. Adobe is also bundling structured training with the access, ensuring learners are taught how to use these tools effectively. As part of its AI-first initiative, the company will extend this combined offering to 15,000 schools and 500 colleges that are set to establish Content Creator Labs. These labs were announced in the Union Budget 2026 and are part of a broader government plan to create 20 lakh jobs in the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics space (AVGC) by 2030.
