Vishal Bhardwaj Calls O’Romeo Actor Shahid Kapoor Understanding For Coping Up With His ‘Passive Aggression’

Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj are currently gearing up to set the box office on fire with their fourth film together, O'Romeo. The duo last collaborated in 2017 for the movie Rangoon. Recently, at the trailer launch of O’Romeo, Vishal shared how Shahid should get a National Award for working with a ‘passive-aggressive' man like him. He further hailed the actor for his understanding nature and recalled how his friends jokingly teased him for working with Shahid on four movies.

O’Romeo’s entire cast recently gathered together for the launch of the movie’s trailer, where Vishal Bhardwaj drew parallels of his bond with Shahid to that of Laxmikant-Pyarelal and Kalyanji-Anandji. During the trailer launch, he said, "We also have many fights and those fights are known to the media more, but there aren't that many fights between us. We've formed a bond between us like Laxmikant-Pyarelal, like Kalyanji-Anandji."

Vishal further lauded Shahid for understanding his work patterns and hailed him for working on four movies with him despite Vishal being a 'difficult man'. He shared, "Main kitna difficult aadmi hun woh Shahid janta hai. Woh mere passive aggression ko samjhta hai. I am a very difficult man to work with. I think Shahid ko ek National Award milna chahiye mere saath 4 filmein karne ke liye (I am a difficult person to work with and Shahid knows that. He understands my passive aggression. I think he should win a National Award for working with me on four films)."

He added, “Mere directors friends mujhe chedhte hain ke mujhe 10th wala milna chahiye ke tumne Shahid Kapoor ke saath 4 filmein ki hain (My director friends tease me that I should get a National Award for making four movies with Shahid).”
