Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni are reportedly set to welcome twins on January 31, 2026, according to circulating reports, although an official confirmation regarding the exact due date is still awaited. The news has generated excitement among fans, as the couple continues to celebrate a new phase of parenthood. Ram Charan and Upasana, who tied the knot in 2012, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Klin Kaara Konidela, on June 20, 2023.
The couple later made a joyful announcement on October 23, 2025, confirming that they were expecting twins, marking yet another special milestone in their family journey.
On the professional front, Ram Charan is gearing up for his next big-screen outing after Game Changer. The actor will soon be seen in Peddi, a much-anticipated project directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and has generated significant buzz for its scale and star power. However, the film’s release, which was initially slated for March this year, has now been postponed indefinitely, leaving fans awaiting further updates from the makers.
Adding to the film’s appeal is its music, which is composed by AR Rahman, further raising expectations. Following Peddi, Ram Charan is also set to collaborate with acclaimed director Sukumar, a pairing that has already sparked excitement within the industry and among audiences eager to see the actor take on new and challenging roles.

The film, which was initially titled RC16, began in March 2024 before being officially named Peddi in March 2025. Principal photography started in Mysuru on November 22, 2024, with shoots held across Hyderabad, Colombo, Kanyakumari and Pune until November 2025. Peddi is slated for a theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
