Fans of the popular dance-based reality show India’s Best Dancer have some good news as the show is all set for its Season 5. The makers have come up with a new teaser of the show, which confirms the return of Karishma Kapoor as the judge. The return of the actress has brought joy to the audience who loved her in the previous season.
Karishma Kapoor Returns to Judge India’s Best Dancer Season 5
The teaser was officially shared on the Instagram account of Sony Liv with the caption: “Jald aa raha hai#SonyEntertainmentTelevision aur Sony LIV par.” In this promo video, Karishma makes a stylish entry and says: “Naye andaaz me best ko karungi define, nayi hogi dance ki kahani. Iss baar mere saath best ka bhi best hoga (I'll define the best in a new way, and the dance story will be new. This time, I'll be the best of the best).”
Her confident statement hints that the upcoming season will bring fresh energy and exciting performances.

Other Judges Yet to Be Confirmed
Though Karishma’s comeback has been confirmed, there has been no confirmation about Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis’s comeback as judges. The contestants’ list has also not been revealed yet. The makers have only revealed that the fifth season will be arriving soon on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.

Looking Back at Season 4
In the previous season, Steve Jyrwa from Shillong won the title on November 10, 2024. Steve won a trophy, prize money of 15 lakhs, and a car. Steve’s choreographer, Raktim Thakuria, won 5 lakhs too.
In the grand finale, Karishma gave a scintillating performance to the song ‘Dum Maro Dum’, which reminded everyone of the 70s.

Coming to her work front, her last outing was the mystery thriller Murder Mubarak (2024). Her acting comeback was through the web series Mentalhood (2020), and her last theatrical outing was the lead role in Dangerous Ishhq (2012).
