Recently, Salim Khan was hospitalised which concerned his family, friends and fans worldwide. Javed Akhtar was among many celebrities who visited Salim Khan in hospital to ask for his well-being.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, haring an update on Khan’s health, Akhtar said, "Salim is fine now. He’s okay and recovering. He’s sitting on a chair and talking, and I mean, he has improved."
