Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Dhurandhar: The Revenge is gearing up for its theatrical release on March 19, with its trailer scheduled to drop on March 7. Reports suggest that teasers of the much-anticipated films Raja Shivaji and Cocktail 2 will be attached to the film’s theatrical release, according to Pinkvilla. In Raja Shivaji, Riteish Deshmukh will portray the legendary Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and also direct the film.
Slated for release on May 1, the period drama will also feature Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in key roles.
According to a report by Mid-Day, the release timing of Cocktail 2 has been strategically planned to arrive nearly six months after Shahid Kapoor’s earlier film O’ Romeo. The gap was reportedly intentional, giving both projects enough breathing room at the box office and preventing them from competing with each other. This scheduling also allows the audience to move on from Shahid’s previous on-screen persona and experience him in a completely fresh avatar in the upcoming sequel, helping build renewed curiosity and anticipation around the film.

A source close to the portal said, "The gap was very consciously planned. O’ Romeo and Cocktail 2 are very different films, and no one wanted them stepping on each other’s toes. Six months gives Shahid the space to arrive with a new energy and image. From a trade point of view, it makes sense. Audiences need time to move on from one character before embracing the next. September gives Cocktail 2 its own identity."

Cocktail 2 is a sequel to the 2012 romantic drama Cocktail, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty in the lead roles. The upcoming sequel will feature Shahid Kapoor alongside Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, and is reportedly being produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films.
