Ahaan Panday Reveals Painful Shoulder Surgery After Debut Film Saiyaara, Says ‘I Was Not Able to Move’

Ahaan Panday, who rose to fame with his debut film Saiyaara, recently made a shocking revelation about his personal life. The young actor opened up about undergoing a major surgery on his shoulder after the release of his debut film. While preparing for his upcoming film, an action-romancer, Ahaan talked about his injury and recovery.

Ahaan Panday’s Injury That Changed Everything

Ahaan disclosed in an interview with Esquire India, that he sustained a shoulder subluxation from a snowmobile accident a few years ago. The injury did not allow him to train well, particularly since he was set to act in an action film. Ahaan was determined to heal completely and thus chose to undergo surgery after Saiyaara’s release.

Ahaan admitted, “I actually got a whole surgery done after the release of Saiyaara last year. And it’s one of the most painful surgeries you can do, with the longest recovery time.”

From Zero To Transformation

Ahaan also revealed that doctors had warned him that his body would go back to zero after the surgery, making it extremely difficult to attain the muscular look he needs for his upcoming film under the direction of Ali Abbas Zafar. However, Ahaan remained focused and proved everyone wrong.

Ahaan stated, “My journey was not about losing weight or gaining weight; it was about going from being injured and not being able to move to being strong and being able to lift weights.”

Recovery That Went Unnoticed

Ahaan also shared that he had been wearing a cast for months while he recovered, yet no one noticed. He was surprised that the fans did not notice. In fact, some of the fans asked his mom, Deanne Panday, why he was losing weight at that time. Despite the hardships, Ahaan has come back stronger and is preparing for his next big role opposite Sharvari.
