Xiaomi service expansion: Xiaomi is now aiming to improve the after-sales service in India, as it has just announced its plans to expand the after-sales service network by opening new service centres in 15 additional cities by Q1 2026. This expansion is part of the company’s broader goal of setting up its 100 service centres nationwide. Expanding on its 2025 launch, Xiaomi plans to extend access to more regions of the country, offering faster and more specialised customer support.
New Service Centres Plan
Xiaomi said the first phase of expansion began with service centres opening in:
Ludhiana and Indore on January 29
Visakhapatnam, Surat, and Lucknow on January 30
The remaining centres will be launched in phases through the first quarter of 2026.

Features of Xiaomi’s New Service Centres
According to the company, the new service centres will be designed to provide more than just repairs. Customers will get:
- Faster repair turnaround
- Dedicated technical staff
- Paperless service processes
- Product interaction and demo areas
- Ability to explore and purchase Xiaomi products
Weekly community activities such as Xiaomi Days will also be hosted by the company to be held every Wednesday.
Discounts and Benefits
Xiaomi said the centres will offer:
- 30-day service discount for women customers
- Lifetime service charge waivers for defence personnel and persons with disabilities
Limited-period offers like:
- Up to 50 cent discount on select spare parts
- Free screen protectors for select devices (subject to availability)

Performance of Existing Centres
The company shared performance data from 2025, stating that:
- Nearly 95 cent of devices were repaired and delivered within 24 hours
- Repeat visits were kept below 1 cent.
- Customer escalations remained under 0.5 cent.
Wednesday service days proved beneficial for over 5,000 customers. This included free service charges on out-of-warranty repairs and complimentary device health check-ups.
Xiaomi also noted that its Premium Service Centres provide priority repairs within 24 hours and offer standby devices if repairs take more than two hours.
