Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Samsung is all set to introduce its next series of flagship smartphones – the Galaxy S26. In leaks, the company could hold a Galaxy Unpacked event on 25 February 2026. A post by tipster Evan Blass hints that the event could bring the Galaxy S26 series and the Galaxy Buds 4 models. As for the date, it is confirmed by the teaser image but Samsung has not announced a venue. The event is also likely to feature Samsung’s latest hardware and software offerings for 2026.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Launch Details

According to the leak, Samsung could introduce three models during the event:

- Galaxy S26

- Galaxy S26 Plus

- Galaxy S26 Ultra

Apart from smartphones, the company is also rumoured to launch the Galaxy Buds 4 series at the same launch event.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Design and Display

The Galaxy S26 Ultra has already leaked several times. The phone will likely carry a similar design to the Galaxy S25 Ultra but with an updated camera module, inspired by the camera setup on the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Expected display features:

- 6.9-inch AMOLED screen

- 120 Hz refresh rate

- Peak brightness up to 3,000 nits

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Performance and Software

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, a processor that is presumably tailor-made for Galaxy smartphones. It may offer:

- Up to 16GB RAM

- Storage options up to 1TB

- One UI 8.5 based on Android 16

If the leaks are right, then there's a chance that the Samsung Galaxy S26 line of handsets could make some solid gains in terms of screen brightness, camera capabilities and charging speed. The Galaxy S26 Ultra should especially prove to be Samsung’s most high-end phone ever with its beefy hardware and Android 16 from the get-go. With the Galaxy Unpacked event rumoured to be set for 25 February, the ball seems firmly in Samsung's court to announce the release and specification details of its next-generation flagship range.
