iQOO 15 Ultra is all geared up to mark its debut next month and poses as the higher-end variant of the company's flagship iQOO 15. A company executive has now given more details about the product, especially when it comes to main gaming features. The device is being claimed to have capacitive touch-based triggers on the shoulder for that enhanced feel during games, especially if you are playing shooter games. For this, the iQOO 15 Ultra will employ another chip to deal with delay-related roadblocks.

iQOO Product Manager Galant V (Translated from Chinese) shared, in a post on Weibo, key gaming specs of the device. According to him, this time the focus is more on control and gaming performance. The triggers will be placed on both the left and right edges of the device, allowing a natural alignment where fingers rest on the phone frame.

Apart from that, the triggers can be used for mapping capabilities as well; users can create combos and shortcuts of functions based on their personal customisation. The triggers are expected to support a 600 Hz sampling rate, which would improve input during gameplay. Moreover, officials have confirmed haptic feedback, driven by a linear motor, which could potentially provide a tactile feel like a traditional trigger in controllers.
