iQOO is going to announce its latest gaming-centric flagship, the iQOO 15 Ultra, in China on February 4. In the lead-up to its launch, the company has already dropped several teasers to confirm key details about the phone’s camera system, display and gaming features. New promotional posters and videos reveal that the smartphone will offer advanced connectivity, high-end photography hardware as well as tech aimed at improving performance, which should make it iQOO’s most powerful phone yet.

iQOO 15 Ultra Camera Specifications

According to iQOO’s latest teasers on Weibo, the iQOO 15 Ultra will feature a 50-megapixel Sony 3x periscope telephoto camera with an upgraded CIPA 4.5 rating for improved stabilisation. The camera system will use Vivo’s advanced imaging technologies, including:

- Nice 3.0 Optical Reconstruction Engine

- Magic 2.0 Image Restoration Engine

These tools are designed to enhance clarity and image restoration, especially in challenging shooting conditions.

Connectivity and Gaming Enhancements

The smartphone is equipped with 29 surrounding antennae that automatically adjust signal paths. It supports the N79 5G band and includes:

- AI Esports Signal Engine 2.0 for stronger Wi-Fi performance

- Universe Metro Gaming Network feature

For cooling and gaming comfort, the phone will offer an Ice Dome Cooling System and capacitive shoulder triggers.

Display and Performance

The iQOO 15 Ultra is confirmed to sport an 8T LTPO OLED display made with M14 luminescent materials, offering:

- 2K resolution

- Up to 144Hz refresh rate

- Up to 8,000 nits peak brightness

This will include iQOO’s self-made Q3 e-sports chip, coaxial dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and War Hammer Max dual-axis motor, which promise to take the vibration feedback to the next level. As we have now seen a listing point towards Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in Geekbench, the plugin with the last specs along with 16GB RAM and Android 16 made an appearance on Geekbench.
