Ways To Reuse Cooking Oil:  One of the common issues Indian women face while cooking, especially Indian food like pakoda and puris, is that many times, leftover oil becomes black and looks dirty. Many people simply throw away this dark and dirty oil, but not everyone can afford that. Unless it’s burnt or smells off, you can actually reuse cooking oil a few times. Here is a list of five simple hacks to reuse cooking oil:

However, the reusability of cooking oil mostly depends on what you used it for and in moderation is never good for you.

1. Simply Strain It

Strain your used cooking oil with a mesh sieve, cheesecloth, paper towel or a coffee filter, and it will look good to use again.

3. Corn Starch

To clean burnt oil, I use cornstarchand heat the oil over low heat. Then, add a mixture of cornstarch and water. Be careful not to let it boil, and stir continuously in a heatproof utensil. After a short time, the cornstarch mixture will solidify completely. Once the burnt oil particles have mixed with the cornstarch, strain the oil.
