Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was present at the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) match held in Surat on Friday evening, where he attended the face-off between the Bengaluru Strikers and the Delhi Superheros. The actor was seen cheering from the stands and interacting with those present, and he also spoke to the media on the sidelines of the match. During his interaction, Salman opened up about his much-anticipated upcoming war film, Battle of Galwan, sharing insights into the project and addressing the buzz surrounding its recently released teaser.

Salman Khan also responded to the online trolling he faced over a particular moment from the film’s teaser, where his intense gaze was labelled 'romantic' by social media users. The one-minute-long teaser, which was released last month, showcases the actor in a powerful and gritty avatar, rallying his troops for battle while holding only a stick. The visuals highlight his commanding screen presence as he confronts the enemy soldiers, who are shown advancing towards him with guns.

While the teaser includes several moments of raw intensity, one lingering look exchanged with his own troops drew unexpected reactions online, with trolls mocking it as overly romantic. Despite the chatter, the teaser underlines Salman’s portrayal of unwavering courage and resolve, as he stands his ground against the approaching enemy, setting the tone for the high-stakes war drama.

Salman said, "Ab kisi ko ye samajh mein ata hai ki ye romantic look hai, lekin Colonel hu bhayya. To ye, Colonel ka look hai jo ki samajhta hai ki apne team walon ko, apne jawano ko kaisa hosla de. Vaise hi look main inko bhi de sakta hoon (growls) uss look ka koi matlab hai nahi. Us look ka koi matlab hai nahi. (Now, some people think this is a romantic look, but I’m a Colonel brother. So, this is the look of a Colonel who understands how to motivate and give hope to his team and soldiers. I can also give them that kind of look (growls), but it has no meaning. It would make no sense.)
