BTS Members’ Nicknames: Debuting in 2013, global kpop icons, BTS members, have redefined the boy band with their catchy pop music, live performances and engaging livestreams.  Popularly known as Bangtan Sonyeondan (translated to Bulletproof Boys), the group has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry while building one of the largest fandoms called ARMY. All 7 members have left ARMY worldwide, adoring them. While we know them by their stage names RM, Jin, Suga, Jhope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, do you know their nicknames? Names like Kookie, Hobi, and Worldwide Handsome add a personal bond between BTS and their fans worldwide.

BTS Members And Their Nicknames

RM

Kim Namjoon, also known as RM, is the band's leader and main rapper. One of his funniest nicknames is 'God of Destruction', due to his clumsy nature and habit of breaking things. RM is also called RipMon, Joonie, Namjoonie, RapMon, Rap Monster and Monie, to name a few. English Teacher is an obvious one, as he has been widely praised for his fluency in English.

Jin

Worldwide Handsome is definitely Kim Seokjin's most popular nickname, coined by Jin himself, and is now iconic worldwide. Another one, Pink Princess, comes from his love for pink. Fans also affectionately call him Jinnie and Seokjinnie, which are derived from his real name.

Suga

BTS Suga’s real name, Min Yoongi, has some pretty hilarious and cute nicknames. Yoongs and Yoongles are commonly associated with his real name. He is also fondly known as Min Genius, August D and Lil Meow Meow, the latter given by his fans for his catlike features, soft expressions, and love for sleep.

Jhope 

One of Jung Hoseok aka Jhope’s most popular nicknames is Hobi, the short version of his stage name. For his warm, bright, and outgoing personality, ARMYs also call him Hope and Sunshine. He is also known as the Team’s Dance Leader for his spectacular dance skills and leading the group, as well as Golden Hyung for being multi-talented, as per Koreaboo.

Jimin

Like BTS V, some of Jimin’s nicknames come from his appearance and his real name. Mochi is inspired by his cute and soft cheeks, while Dooly is due to his similar appearance to a cartoon character of the same name. Park Jimin is also known as ChimChim/Mimi.

Totally matching his adorable and artistic personality, BTS V is often called Tae, TaeTae and Tachyungie. Fans say his visuals look unreal, like computer-generated imagery; they gave him the nickname, CGV (Computer Graphic V). Jungkook
