ICC U19 World Cup 2026 Winners List: An exceptional performance from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was enough to take India to a historic and record-extending sixth ICC U19 World Cup title win. India defeated England by 100 runs in the final of the ICC U19 World Cup 2026 at the Harare Sports Club on Friday, February 6.
India are the most successful team in the history of the U19 World Cup, and they played like champions during the summit clash. The 16th edition of the tournament was played across Zimbabwe and Namibia. Sooryavanshi was the star performer for the Ayush Mhatre-led side as his memorable century took England out of the game for a major chunk of the game. He played a historic knock of 175 runs in 80 balls on the back of 15 fours and as many sixes, also smashing multiple records during his stay at the crease.

After opting to bat first, India posted a massive total of 411/9 in their 50 overs. On the other hand, England were bowled out for 311 in 40.2 overs, as Caleb Falconer's fight of 115 runs went in vain. A total of 722 runs were scored in the match, which is in fact the highest aggregate in any Youth ODI, surpassing 714 between AUS U19 and WI U19 in Visakhapatnam in 2011.
