ICC T20 World Cup 2026: India have looked unstoppable in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2026, having won all of their matches so far. They made it to the Super 8s with victories over the USA, Namibia, Pakistan and the Netherlands to finish at the top of group A. The defending champions are all set to face major challenges in the Super 8 stage, which kicks off on Saturday, February 20.
Despite a few concerns, especially in the batting department, India have looked the most dominant side in the competition. India’s first Super 8s match will be played on Sunday (February 22) against South Africa at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, and for their second match against Zimbabwe, the Suryakumar Yadav-led side will travel to Chennai. Both teams will meet for the first time in a T20 World Cup match, and it will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on February 26.
India’s third Super 8s match is scheduled to take place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March 1 against the West Indies. Apart from the Men in Blue, Zimbabwe, the West Indies and South Africa are also unbeaten in the ongoing shortest-format mega-event, and they topped their respective groups.
