T20 World Cup 2026: India's triumphant campaign in the T20 World Cup earned them a substantial prize of USD 2,639,423 (approximately Rs 25 crore), the largest share of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) record USD 11.25 million payout.
The International Cricket Council announced the distribution of the players' prize fund on Wednesday, rewarding the champions of the tournament held on home soil.
India obliterated New Zealand in the final by a comprehensive 96-run margin to lift their second successive trophy.

“Following the successful conclusion of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the final distribution of the tournament’s US$11.25 million Players’ Prize Money pool, in line with the record-breaking increase to ICC prize money made in 2024,” ICC said in an official statement.
The runners-up New Zealand team received USD 1,422,692 (Rs 13 crore approx), while semi-finalists South Africa and England bagged INR 9.24 crore and USD 8.96 crore respectively.
Among other top finishers, the West Indies cricket team pocketed USD 538,269, while the Pakistan team, which played all its matches in Sri Lanka, received USD 522,692.
Further down the allocation list, the Zimbabwe national cricket team were handed USD 491,538, and Sri Lanka received USD 475,962. The group of Afghanistan, Australia and United States which was knocked out at the Super 8s stage each earned USD 309,808.

Meanwhile, Scotland received USD 278,654, and Ireland took home USD 271,731. Four more teams -- Italy, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates and Nepal -- each received USD 256,154. Finally, Canada, Namibia and Oman were each handed USD 225,000.
