The Hundred Women's Auction: The Indian contingent in The Hundred women's player draft was spearheaded by opener Smriti Mandhana, while Richa Ghosh fetched a substantial GBP 50,000 (approximately Rs 61 lakh) value, and all-rounder Deepti Sharma also secured a contract.

The auction saw 178 players vying for contracts, complementing the 28 players already confirmed by franchises through retention and direct signings, ahead of the event.

The League will start on July 21 and conclude on August 16. Manchester Super Giants swiftly confirmed Richa’s services with a sole bid of GBP 50,000.

Manchester Super Giants bolstered their lineup by signing Smriti Mandhana and Australia's Meg Lanning directly, and retaining England spinner Sophie Ecclestone. Deepti, meanwhile, was picked up by SunRisers Leeds at what was considered a bargain price of GBP 27,500 (approx 34 lakh).

Jemimah Rodrigues has joined Southern Brave Women as a straightforward signing for GBP 60,000, marking her second franchise in The Hundred tournament after previously representing Northern Superchargers.

India's Yastika Bhatia and Sree Charani failed to attract any bids, leaving them disappointed as they went unsold in the player draft.
